Here is where our site rules will be located. YES you do need to read them. I realize it is a boring business, but it’s for the best. Make sure to understand everything and NOT break any rules or the admins will be forced to take action.
The set of the site is based of Ancient Greece. So no cars, modern clothes, cell phones, etc.
Proboards are strictly 13+, therefore, we will not accept anyone below that age.
Mature content is FORBIDDEN. Violence, drug-use and cursing should be kept at a minimum.
If you create an account, you are committing yourself to fill in a profile. Lurkers are not permitted.
A character application must be posted within 2 weeks of joining the board, otherwise the account will be deleted. If you require an exception to this rule, please speak to an admin.
If you need to leave for a period of time, post in the appropriate category or inform a staff member.
Always respect the staff and other members.
Please refrain from discussing Religion, Politics and Sexual Orientation on the board. We understand and acknowledge that everyone is entitled to their opinion, however, sometimes silence is golden.
There will be NO SLANDER of any kind allowed on this site. If there is a problem with someone appreciating their views on something in any way, shape or form, please come to the admins and we will deal with it. There are some things that we don't agree on, but please keep your comments to yourselves.
We would also appreciate if you don't spend your whole time on the IC and OOC c-boxes, keep in mind that you are here to roleplay and it's not nice to keep others waiting for a long time 'want not waste not' (to be used in app).
Multiple accounts are okay but you have to give each character equal times. If you want to be an Olympian god, you have to be active on the site. If your not, then we'll revoke your character.
If there is too many males or females, there will be a TEMPORARY ban on them until the odds are even.
The application needs to be filled out with care. Refrain from using abbreviations or text-talk.
Once the application has been submitted, please DON’T send messages to the admins about acceptance. Like you, we have real life to attend to so be patient. We will review it. If it's accepted, you'll be put in what region you want, and then you will wait until the Seer requests your presence to be paired with your husband/wife. Once that happens, it's final and cannot change. Only if your spouse quits the site or fails to reply to an activity check.
If you want to make a God/Goddess, you will need to make at LEAST one human character.
Please put ACCURATE facts if you are applying for Titans or Gods/Goddesses or Greek Heroes. We don't care about the length, we just care about the accuracy of the application.
On that note, please put the facts in your own words. Do not copy and paste because we will know.
If your God/Goddess is married in the myths, make them married in your app, doesn't mean you can't cheat on them in your threads. Lets face it, they do it all the time in the myths.
Gary Stus and Mary Sues. No one likes them and if you don't know what they are Google them.
No one is perfect, therefore perfect characters are not allowed. Your character may have good qualities, but that doesn't mean they never make mistakes. Make sure there's that something that sets your character apart from the rest.
Face Claims... do not use unknown face claims or site models. If you're desperate to use one of them, then you'd better have a pretty damn good application.
After being accepted change your display name to your character's name.
If you want divine intervention to tag in a god or goddesses username.
All levels of experience are accepted, as long as the person in question can post at least one decent paragraph.
One line posters are NOT tolerated. This board has a function which will not allow members to post unless they have at least 150words
NO slang language such as IM chat words or acronyms.
NO GODMODDING!!! Even goes for Gods and Goddesses, unless you ask the person first. An admin should be notified if such occours with permission
Creativity and originality are encouraged, especially when it comes to coding which makes posts look more attractive.
As for our miniprofiles our Avatars are required to be the size of 220px X 350 px if you need help resizing ask a staff member.
